Employee Homeowners Love Their Holiday Builders’ Homes
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to talk about love. What does love have to do with homebuilding? Quite a bit, actually. Especially if you work for a homebuilder and decide to have that homebuilder, build your home. We asked our employee homeowners to tell us what they love about their Holiday Builders’ home. Holiday Builders is an employee-owned homebuilder. Our sweetheart homeowners hail from various departments – Sales, IT, Land, Training and Construction. We asked the same three questions:

- What did you love the most about your home when you first moved in?

- We love the exterior elevation with the large front porch. We staged this with a nice bench and a bunch of planters. We love that it has 4 beds and 2 baths for our large blended family of 8 kids.
- We love the openness of our home, the spacious kitchen overlooking the family is our favorite when we have family over. We corral around the island talking and eating while watching football. The split bedrooms are another one of our favorite features – the master suite gives us privacy and serenity when needed.

- Large lot, large open floor design, and the 12’ vaulted ceilings in the great room and dining room. We loved that we were able to select options and upgrades to make the house into a home that we love.
- We still love the same things as when we first built the house. But we also love that when we entertain, we can share the home we love with family and friends, all in a large area without feeling crowded and without having to split gatherings into multiple rooms.

- The Highland has a three and a half car garage so that’s one of the first things that stand out.
- 1,637 sqft doesn’t sounds like a lot until you step into the Highland. The entire floorplan is so efficiently laid out. My family came to visit couple of weekends ago and being able create new memories with them has been the highlight so far.
