OCTOBER 18
Week 1, Follow the Build. We’ve got a new PAD with Plumbing – the first step of this new home being built in Parkview at Hammock Bay. New Home Consultant Josh Tarr took these photos to kick off our Follow-the Build project. Each Tuesday, we’ll post an updated photo to take you through the stages of the build. Watch this home grow from a slab on a dirt lot to a dream home. #followthebuild
OCTOBER 25
Week 2 of #followthebuild. The Slab has been poured at this new home under construction in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL. Framing has started! The wood at an angle is support pieces. NOVEMBER 1
Week 3 of Follow the build. We’re building this new home in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL. – Roof trusses are on! The house has also been wrapped. The wrap serves as a vapor barrier. The small room with supports is the sunroom option. #followthebuild
NOVEMBER 8
Week 4 Follow the Build. Check out the progress of this new home in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL. It’s starting to look like a house now! This past week framing has been completed and they have starting putting in water lines. They have also installed the guest bathrooms tub/shower. NOVEMBER 15
Week 5 Follow the Build. This past week has seen a ton of progress in Parkview at Hammock Bay. The roof and shingles have been installed, mechanicals (electrical, water lines and AC ducting) have been installed as well. And WINDOWS are in. What do you think of the last photo?? NOVEMBER 22
Week 6 Follow the Build. It may not look like much has happened this week as we #followthebuild in Parkview at Hammock Bay. But it has. Our Construction Manager Joyce(camera shy) has been hard at work making sure the house is on track and ready for inspections. One of our energy-efficient items has been installed – the solar-powered Attic Fan helps keep your power bill low. Also, we get a little closer look at what’s between the studs in the laundry room and the master shower. Check out the high-low chase for mounting your tv on the living wall. There’s a lot of detail happening. #followthebuild
NOVEMBER 30
Week 7 Follow the Build – Parkview at Hammock Bay. If you’re in the process of having a home built, you’re aware that multiple inspections occur throughout the process. We’re currently in a holding pattern awaiting a Framing Inspection by Walton County so our photos haven’t changed much in a week. However, behind the scenes our Construction Manager is making sure everything is in order. Once the inspection process is complete, we’ll move forward with insulation, drywall and the brick exterior. This is a good illustration of how sometimes it doesn’t look like anything is happening, and sometimes we are in a wait mode without much control. It is all part of the process. We’re excited to watch this home progress.
DECEMBER 6
Week 8 Follow the Build from Freeport, Florida. If you’ve been watching, we were at a stall for a couple of weeks awaiting the framing inspection. Good news – it was inspected and we passed! Two of the most chaotic jobs are brick and drywall installation days. We can’t lie – it’s messy. This week we are blessed with both of them so excuse our dust. Week 10 of Follow the Build. This week in Parkview at Hammock Bay the drywall and ceiling texture are in! JANUARY 3, 2023
Week 12 of Follow the Build. We hope you all had a great Holiday season. We slowed down a little during the Holidays on our #followthebuild home in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport. We are still waiting for 1 more brick delivery to finish up the exterior. The interior drywall, wall and ceiling textures and paint have been completed. This interior color is called Heron Plume. JANUARY 10
Week 13 of Follow the Build. Welcome to the weekly update on the home we’re building in Parkview at Hammock Bay. This week on #FollowtheBuild, the rest of our brick has been delivered. As soon as our contractors finish the brick install we promise we’ll get you an exterior picture. The big news of the week, cabinets are getting installed! The color is called Admiral Blue and although it looks dark, once the counters and flooring get in it’ll all tie together nicely. Our model actually has these cabinets and we love them. JANUARY 18
Week 14 Follow the Build. This week on Follow the Build… Exterior Brick is complete! 😮💨 Brick color is Cypress point. The Bianca Swan quartz countertops have been installed and the look fantastic with our Admiral Blue cabinets. Up next exterior trim and soffit. JANUARY 25
Week 15 Follow the Build. This rainy week it’s been all about the exterior of the house. Exterior Trim has been installed along with the soffit. We also cut in the driveway and sidewalks which we will have to fix because Mother Nature said so. We also put a silt fence around the property to help keep the dirt in the yard and not the road with the rain we’ve been getting.

FEBRUARY 7
Week 17 Follow the Build. This is the weekly update on #Followthebuild at our home in Parkview at Hammock Bay. We got the exterior trim painted and started on the irrigation system for the yard. Things have slowed a little this past week while we wait for flooring to come in. Up next, flooring installation and cement work for the driveway and sidewalks. We are getting these updates from Josh Tarr, New Home Consultant. Thanks, Josh!
FEBRUARY 15
Week 18 Follow the Build. This week on #followthebuild in Parkview at Hammock Bay…The driveway and sidewalk are in. They are finishing up the electrical trim and today we’re in the midst of laying down sod and adding landscaping. The owners’ suite shower tile is in and we installed the air handler (heat and a/c). Week 19 Follow the Build. Welcome to your weekly update as we #Followthebuild in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL. Grass and landscape have been. Installed! Right now our workers are about 3/4 of the way through installing the tile floor and grout. We are close to the finish line! MARCH 1
Week 20 Follow the Build. We’re on the home stretch as we #followthebuild of this new home in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, FL. Tile flooring is finished! We’d love to show you a great picture of all this tile flooring but we have it protected under paper until all construction is over. (For a sneak peek look at the last picture). We’ve started appliance installation. All that’s left is bedroom carpeting and finishing touches…and a bunch of paperwork for all workers involved.😆 Don’t feel bad for them – they’re used to it! Week 24 Follow the Build. Three weeks passed as our crews made finishing touches. Now, our follow the build house is set to have its final clean in the next couple of days. She sure looks pretty on the outside! We love this new home in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport.
APRIL 4
Week 25 Follow the Build. We present our last #followthebuild post on the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,918 Square feet Rosemary B plan in Parkview at Hammock Bay in Freeport, Florida. Hopefully, you have been with us for the entire build process. We have seen weather delays, supply chain delays and back orders and you have seen us at our messiest (do you remember brick and drywall week?)! But alas, we are at the finish line! This particular Rosemary plan comes with Admiral Blue 42” Cabinets with Soft Close, Bianco Swan quartz countertops throughout with a Matte white tile backsplash, Glass front door upgrade, Tuscan tile flooring, upgraded faucets, crown molding, porcelain master shower tile and so much more!
ENJOY OUR VIDEO TOUR! As we walk into the home we see a wide inviting hallway. On the left are the extra living room option and a guest bedroom with a walk-in closet and a full bathroom just outside of it. To the right is the formal dining room with a tray ceiling and chandelier. Continuing down the hallway we come to the great room, sunroom, and kitchen area and walk around the corner where the pantry, possible butler pantry area, and Laundry room are located. As we walk through the kitchen we come to the guest bedroom area where two bedrooms and a full bath have their own hallway. As we come across the great room we enter the 13’ x 26’ Master suite with the Owners’ retreat. The master bath is just as impressive as the bedroom area. It has Porcelain tile and a no-step entrance with a large closet.
We hope you enjoyed the video tour of the Rosemary plan. You might have noticed some red or blue tape on the walls. Those are touch-up spots. We could have waited another day until the house was perfect but we wanted to show you that we care about our product right up until closing and beyond with our two-year warranty. We build and sell homes but we are aware that we are not just building a house – we are building a home; a special place at the center of people’s lives.
