Holiday Builders Wrapped

It’s mid December and we’re wrapping up our 41st year building new homes. Our reputation as a homebuilder is a major component in reviewing our performance. Holiday Builders received approximately 200 Google reviews in 2024. That represents just over 17% of our homebuyers this year. Google displays reviews online under Google My Business (GMB) locations. GMB listings display a company’s full contact information, address, photographs and links to social media. Holiday Builders has 38 GMB listings identifying sales centers and corporate and regional offices. A model home location may represent an entire city, or a small community. GMB listings are the ones that tell you, “This business may be closed by the time you arrive…” when using Google Maps.

This year our Google reviews have been outstanding. Locations are earning cumulative scores of 4.8, 4.9 and even 5 stars. We are thrilled to share these reviews for your reading pleasure. They come from customers and realtors, all sharing their experience purchasing a new home from Holiday Builders.

In addition to reviews, Google let us know we have over 1.7 million website visitors in 2024. Google tells us exactly how people found our website – where they came from and how long they stayed on our site.

Google is a powerful tool all the way around. For consumers, it provides information, directions and an overview of other people’s experiences with various business by way of reviews. Whether it’s service or food at a restaurant, or purchasing something as significant as a new home, Google offers an accessible way to relay experiences. Furthermore, Google reviews cannot be removed by a business unless they violate Google’s rules. From the perspective of a business, Google provides data to help business identify potential customers, and insights on various advertising channels to reach those buyers. Google is a powerful tool for consumers and businesses in determining value.

Google has become so ingrained in our world that it has become a transitive verb. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, “Just ‘Google’ it.” We have a special “Dear Santa” blog next week. Until then, it’s a wrap for 2024. We will see you in 2025, with an expanded list of GMB locations as we develop new communities and march onward and upward.
