Why Experienced, Employee-Owned Homebuilder Leadership Matters for Homebuyers in 2026
Holiday Builders is kicking off the new year with a “best foot forward” and a “let’s go” attitude, and that’s great news for Florida homebuyers in 2026. In April of this year we celebrate 43 years in business. We’re an employee-owned, private homebuilder. The way we manage our footprint is to place each town or city in which we build, into a region. Each region has a local office, staffed by a director and team members that manage construction, purchasing, trades, and sales. Regional offices are supported by teams at the company’s corporate office in Melbourne. Our employees and our leadership team are all Florida residents. So our business decisions are made by people living and working where we build, not in a board room in some other state. Our team’s first-hand knowledge of Florida living and more than four decades of building experience, benefit homebuyers.
Holiday Builders is poised for continued growth in 2026. Our land acquisition team has been busy securing new properties throughout Florida. These land purchases show long-term confidence in homebuilding because the land ensures the ability to build homes for many years. In addition to purchasing lots within existing developments, Holiday Builders is purchasing tracts of land and planning new communities as a developer. That means we are putting in all the infrastructure and building the community in its entirety. These land purchases and development plans serve our homebuyers well. But how?
When Holiday Builders secures land for a new development, we are in the driver’s seat for community planning that supports the way people live today in Florida. Our experience over the last four decades has given us valuable insight into homebuyer preferences. These insights come into play when we are creating new floorplans and adding community amenities. Additionally, Holiday Builders’ expanding footprint demonstrates our belief in Florida’s future. We believe new home construction is where value lives. Our investment in land is a plan for stability, not volatility. Our confidence in Florida’s growing future translates into smart decisions that help sustain long-term home values for homebuyers.
Outside of long-term development goals, Holiday Builders continues to focus on affordability. We address affordability by offering three Collections of floorplans to meet the needs of varying budgets. When you review our website, you’ll find homes priced from about $250K to homes over $450K. We realize that most buyers will need to finance their new home so we work closely with our lending partner Coastal Loans. Homebuyers can take advantage incentives and promotions including rate buy downs and closing cost assistance programs when using Coastal Loans. Our builder/lender partnership means there’s a dedicated team to help homebuyers get into a new home.
We know that Florida homebuyers have a lot of choices when it comes to purchasing a new home. So why buy from Holiday Builders? We offer quality-built new homes, back them up with our warranty, and deliver exemplary customer service. Our leadership team is stable and dedicated. Bruce Assam, President and CEO and Richard Fadil, CFO, will celebrate 20 years at the helm by the close of 2026. Rich Brown, President of Homebuilding has been with Holiday Builders for 12 years. Employee-owned, our 220 plus employees have a vested interest in our success. And side note, because we are growing, we’re hiring so check our careers page if you’re looking for work in Florida. Holiday Builders offers homebuyers a very personal homebuying experience. We aren’t a huge, national company where the top management isn’t available. In fact, its quite the opposite. Our leadership team is involved and accessible which is great for our homebuyers, because leadership matters.
